I work at a Walmart distribution center. Long shifts. Physical work. Just enough money to pay the bills and put food on the table for my wife and four kids.

And every single day I drive home thinking โ€” there has to be more than this.

Not because I'm ungrateful. I'm thankful for every dollar that job puts in my pocket. But I knew I was capable of building something bigger. Something that could give my family real freedom. Not just survival.

So in September 2025 I started UnityMark Solutions โ€” a cleaning and junk removal company โ€” while still working full time. Then in January 2026 I launched ELIACIN โ€” a digital product brand selling ebooks, guides, and AI tools for entrepreneurs.

Both businesses. One 9 to 5. Four kids. A wife. And about 4 hours of sleep on a good night.

"The margins of your day are where your future gets built. Before the kids wake up. During lunch. After they go to bed. That's your time."

Why Most People Never Start

The number one reason people with jobs never build a business is not money. It's not time. It's not even skill.

It's the belief that they have to choose. Job or business. Security or freedom. Responsibility or ambition.

That's a lie the comfort zone tells you to keep you still.

The truth is you don't quit first and build second. You build while you work. You stack income while your current income covers the bills. And when your business earns what your job pays โ€” then you make the move.

What "Building in the Margins" Actually Looks Like

Here's my real schedule. Not the Instagram version. The real one.

That's it. That's 2.5 hours a day. Roughly 17 hours a week. And in that time I built two real businesses from scratch.

The One Thing That Makes It Possible

I stopped waiting for big blocks of time that were never coming.

Nobody with four kids and a full time job has four free hours a day. That time doesn't exist. But 30 minutes before sunrise? That exists. Your lunch break? That exists. The hour after the kids go to bed? That exists.

Small pockets of intentional time โ€” used consistently โ€” build more than sporadic long sessions ever will.

What I'm Building Toward

The goal is simple. The day I don't have to clock in somewhere is the day I've won.

Not retirement. Not quitting work forever. Just having the choice. The freedom to decide how I spend my time based on my priorities โ€” not someone else's schedule.

I'm documenting the entire journey right here. The wins. The hard days. The numbers. The lessons.

If you're reading this from your break room or your car during lunch โ€” this is for you. You can build. You don't have to wait. And you don't have to choose between security and ambition.

You just have to start in the margins.
